BGSA is a certified Group Training Organisation in NSW who provides opportunities for new Apprentices and Trainees looking to start or upskill into a new career, whilst also providing a unique solution for businesses who are looking to engage an apprentice or a trainee but don’t have the current organisational capacity to provide the required monitoring of the Apprentice or Trainee throughout the life of their Apprenticeship/Traineeship, this is where BGSA can help.

BGSA takes on the time consuming and complex activities involved in hiring an Apprentice or Trainee. We take care of everything in regard to recruitment, assessment, pre-employment process, employment, RTO sourcing, training plan creation and registration, ongoing monitoring and management of the Apprentice/Trainee, mentoring and support services, reporting and more. Host Employers have the opportunity to be involved in collaboration every step of the way from recruitment to completion. Host Employers who place a worker through a Group Training Organisation, provide the on-the-job training and support components of the Apprenticeship or Traineeship, while we take care of the rest.

Apprenticeships and Traineeships combine real work experience with formal training as learning pathway that allows you to develop real skills for your career while also completing a nationally recognised certificate.

As an Apprentice or Trainee with BGSA, you’ll be employed by us and placed with a Host Employer to support you in developing your skills on-the-job. You’ll also complete your studies through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

A School Based Apprenticeship/Traineeship gives students practical and real-worldwork experience and skills during Year 10 to Year 12. Each Graduate from this program will receive a nationally accredited qualification and the chance of a full-time position and/or tertiary education. A School Based Traineeship is proven to provide a head-start towards a long term career. School Based Trainees are expected to complete up to 800 hours of training with a Host Employer over two years which counts towards the Higher Education Year 12 Certificate.
